National Insurance Company participates in the fifth annual international scientific conference
(The future of financial markets in Iraq in the era of contemporary transformations)
The National Insurance Company participated in the fifth annual international scientific conference held by the Financial and Accounting Training Center at the Ministry of Finance for the period from 10–11 December 2025, which was hosted by the Al-Bayan Hall for Conferences and Seminars at the Center's headquarters.
The conference witnessed the presence of prominent economic and financial figures, including:
* Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Dr. Ali Mohsen Al-Alak
* Chairman of the Iraqi Securities Commission, Mr. Faisal Al-Haimas
* Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. Mazhar Mohamed Saleh
* Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. Saleh Mahoud
In addition to a number of directors general, deans of colleges and researchers from inside and outside Iraq, as well as a group of teaching staff, experts in the field of finance and a number of employees of the Ministry of Finance.
The conference was also attended by a number of employees of the National Insurance Company, and the company participated by presenting two specialized researches:
“Artificial Intelligence in Financial Markets: From Idea to Practice in Iraq”

2- “Exploring market trends and fluctuations in S&P500, Brent crude and Bitcoin from 2018 to 2025”
For the employee: Nour Adel Abdel Moneim
This participation comes in confirmation of the role of the National Insurance Company in keeping pace with scientific and economic developments and supporting research that contribute to the development of the insurance sector and the financial and economic sectors in Iraq.
